A Perfect 0-2-X

Even though one of my biggest SHEET reading complaints is the over emphasis of the 0-2-X pattern, I think this was an excellent play (that I carefully got myself shut out on). MF was off an 0-2-X, but more important to me was a very strong plus condition horse. He got back to his 17- 2yo top early 3yo then moved to 15+, 14+ and 13 tops with strong intermediate patterns. His poor effort in his last was on only two weeks rest and he now had a month into the race and two+ months since his last peak effort. This is as close to a perfect pattern as we're going to get. I agree also that the fav who just jumped up to an effort 1 1/2 points off his top was a strong candidate to react from that effort (which came with extra rest). The winner of the race was certainly one of the faster solid horses that had to be used in exotics. (See below to get the Sheets for this race).
