Gulfstream Park isn't the only victim of timers starting early.
For instance, at Aqueduct on 5th March 1999 in races 7 and 9, the first fraction is obviously too slow, and our private timing has these races much faster than the teletime.
Also, times for the 1¼ mile distance at Aqueduct (inner track) are
often off by as much as a full second either way.
